Suffice to say, I visited mom at the cemetary. It was a really nice day, and the wind was blowing, and she has a pretty nice place there. There's a lake with swan and trees swaying around in the wind everywhere, and a magnificent sunset. I should have brought a picnic.
It was saddening and a little depressing though, and not because I was there, or even that mom was there, but that there were so many children there. Like, 7-10 year olds. They can be dismissed on any other day, but a person can't not know exactly why they were there yesterday. Not for a lost uncle, or cousin, or anything else. I knew they were all there to say "happy Mother's Day" too.
